First farmer’s market of season sees more vendors than in years
Despite a chilly breeze, the first Reno County farmer’s market was well attended.
“We have the most vendors for the first market in quite a long time,” Chairman of the Reno County farmer’s market board, Sparkle Faidley, said.
The market added three new vendors, one selling coffee, another with baked goods, and the third with freeze-dried candy.
The crowd shopped booths filled with live plants, fresh vegetables, eggs, and flowers, handmade soaps, locally collected honey, baked goods, essential oils, and many handmade items, including knitted toys, candles, and wooden American flag wall art.
